Sana'a, 5 May 2009 (WAM) - In keeping with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, an agreement was signed here today for construction of the Sheikh Khalifa Housing City for the people affected by the floods that hit the Yemeni provinces of Hadramout and Al Mahra.
The AED 100 million - project is being implemented under the supervision of the UAE Red Crescent Authority (UAE). It entails construction of 1,000 houses with educational facilities and other amenities.
