Area postal carriers hope to fill their mailbags and trucks with plenty of good things to eat as they once again collect food during the national annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive.
The 17th annual food drive will be held May 9, rain or shine, in communities throughout the state and the U.S.
"More people seem to give every year, and that's a good thing. It is very easy for people to get involved. All they have to do is set out the food," said John Fay, a letter carrier at the Millbury Post Office.
