North Korea is targeting American forces in South Korea, the Japanese home islands, Okinawa, Guam and Alaska with ballistic missiles, two high ranking North Korean defectors told Congress on Tuesday.
"This is more than a wake up call, it's a call to general quarters," Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.), chairman of the Senate's international security, proliferation, and federal services subcommittee, said after hearing testimony of the extent of North Korea's advanced missile program and the doctrine for its use in the event of hostilities on the Korean Peninsula.
