BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 24, 1997--QUEBECOR (ME, TSE IQI., NYSE PRW.) Quebecor Printing (USA) Corp. has completed its previously announced acquisition of the Franklin Division assets of Brown Printing Company from Gruner + Jahr Printing & Publishing Company. The Franklin Division includes a 461,000 sq. ft. rotogravure printing plant located in Franklin, KY, as well as two associated PrepSAT prepress businesses located in Franklin and Denver, CO. Total employment at these divisional operations, which produce catalogs, retail inserts and magazines, is over 500 people.
The printing operation will now be doing business as Quebecor Printing ...
