PerkinElmer, Inc., a global company focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment, has acquired Analytica of Branford, Inc., a company engaged in mass spectrometry (MS) and ion source technology.
According to the company, the acquisition is an integral part of its strategic commitment to continue to grow its human and environmental health portfolio. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The company said that with the completion of this acquisition, it gains insight and intellectual property in the field of MS and ion source technology.
