BEIJING, May 8 Asia Pulse - China's leading potash producer Qinghai Salt Lake Co., Ltd. (SSZ:000792) announced Friday to cut its ex-factory price of potash fertilizer by about 10 per cent from its average sales price of 3,670 yuan/ton in 2008.

Salt Lake closed by falling to limit-down of 10 per cent on Shenzhen bourse Thursday after several days' weak correction, and sank further Friday.

The company's product selling price has slumped by 14.47 per cent from around 3,800 yuan/ton in March-April period to 3,250 yuan/ton now.

An authoritative source revealed that the delayed price negotiation for imported potash fertilizer might have begun.
