DOLTON, Ill., Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Calumet Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: CBCI), today reported that the contract for sale of a 288 unit residential rental property owned by a limited partnership in which the Company has a significant partnership interest has been terminated. The contract for sale of the property, originally discussed in the Company's news release dated October 22, 1997, was terminated following the purchaser's failure to meet certain terms of the contract. The partnership will continue to market the property to other potential purchasers.
