TORONTO, Oct. 28 /CNW-PRN/ - Taiwan's Great China Airlines today announced an order for two new de Havilland Dash 8Q(x) Series 300 aircraft from Bombardier Regional Aircraft.
Value of the contract is approximately $27.7 million U.S. ($38.2 million Can.).
The airline intends to replace two of its older Dash 8 Series 300s with the new Q (for Quiet) aircraft which are scheduled for delivery at the end of the year.
This order brings to 24 the number of Dash 8 aircraft Great China has ordered since 1989 including six of the new generation Dash 8Q Series 400.
