Thiruvananthapuram, Apr. 7 -- Reacting to the incident of a reporter hurling a shoe at Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi today, CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat today said there was anger amongst the Sikh community against the Congress in giving a ticket to a leader allegedly involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
''There is anger among the Sikh community. I have to find out what really happened before commenting on it,'' he told reporters here, participating at a meet-the-press programme ''Janavidhi 2009'', organised by the Kesari Memorial Journalists' Trust.
