Kochi, April 14 -- Maintaining the dominance of the BJP MPs in the State for being elected to the Lok Sabha for several times, Mr Sartaj Singh Chhatwal also earned respect from the party members as he successfully emerged victorious in five terms from his bastion Hoshangabad.
Mr Chhatwal made his first intry to the Lok Sabha by winning the 1989 general polls and was reelected to 9th Lok Sabha 1996, 10th, 11th, 12th and 14th general elections 2004.
He did not contest Lok Sabha polls in 1999 and BJP leader Sundar Lal Patwa fought and won the Hoshangabad constituency against Congress rival Rajkumar Patel, whose nomination paper was cancelled due to some ...
