Oct. 31--IF YOU'RE LOOKING for a new compact sedan, scratch the redesigned '98 Honda Accord off your list.
Got your attention, didn't I?
Actually, the Accord's latest iteration remains ever the thoughtful, sensible, well-constructed, widely attractive sedan it has always been. Even more so, in fact.
But it no longer qualifies as a compact.
Among the improvements to this new Accord is a roomier interior. It's now so big that the EPA people with their little tape measures have declared it officially "Midsize."
