Article: US Airways Pilots Approve Five-Year Contract

WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- US Airways pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, have overwhelmingly approved a new five-year labor contract with the airline.

The ballot count today ratified a tentative agreement reached Sept. 30 after 17 months of negotiations between representatives of US Airways and its 4,600 pilots. Ballots were returned by 88 percent of those eligible to vote, with 84 percent voting in favor of the agreement.
