Ukraine's National Bank to limit spread between official exchange rate, interbank rate

KYIV. May 7 (Interfax) - A new rule from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) restricts the spread between the official hryvnia/dollar exchange rate and the interbank rate to no more than 2%.

The rule is contained in a NBU resolution dated April 30, an element of the financial policy memorandum approved in line with Ukraine's stand-by arrangement with the IMF. The text of the resolution is posted on the bank's web site.
