Guwahati, May. 7 -- Four members of a wedding party, including a child, were killed and 18 others injured in a road accident in central Assam?s Nagaon district today.
The accident occurred at Puranigudam area, when a bus carrying a wedding party hit a stationary truck. The wedding party was returning to Pahukata from Seesamukh in the same district.
While four persons, including a three-year-old boy, died on the spot, eight critically injured were sent to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital. The remaining injured were treated at Nagaon Civil Hospital.
The bride and groom escaped unhurt as they were traveling in a different vehicle. Four ...
