New, Deli,. Ma -- The middle finger that made some of the voters feel awkward after voting in the last phase of Lok Sabh elections, did not cause much headache to Delhiites as mostly index finger was inked.
The old tradition of inking the index finger was followed in polls for the seven Delhi Lok Sabha seats today.
'' It looked odd but then I thought may be it is the new rule of the Election Commission,'' Ms Sood, one of the voters who came all smiling after casting her vote, said.
Showing her index finger to mediapersons, she said, '' Now it's fine and I can show my finger to everyone without hesitation.''
