The firm OKD, Doprava of the group of companies of financier Zdenek Bakala is buying Cechofracht group, the biggest provider of logistic services in the Czech Republic, the company said in a press release.
Before that, the information was made public by server iHned.cz.
Bakala will thus gain an important share in the domestic market in rail, sea and air transport, railway freight forwarding and logistics.
Total turnover of the companies in 2008 would top Kc9bn.
The transaction still has to be approved by antitrust office UOHS.
The price of the transaction has not been disclosed.
