More than 20 percent annual growth in the past eight years has propelled Anthony Forest Products Inc. among the largest private companies in Arkansas.
The 64-year-old El Dorado firm, with six manufacturing facilities in Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia and Texas, had $80 million in revenue last year, making it the 57th largest privately owned company in the state.
"We've been a family company for a long time and have always tried to stay up with the technology and keep our mills modern," says Clary Anthony, the the firm's 73-year-old president. "Had we not taken that approach we wouldn't be here.
