Flexo. Where would the label industry be without it? Flexography has come such a long way since its earliest days. The first patented press that used the basis for the technology came in the late 1800s. It was known as "Bibby's Folly," so called after its inventor, Bibby, Baron & Sons of England, and the process's propensity to smear ink with ease. The early years of flexo were indeed rocky.
