May 11, 2009 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- DuPont (http://www2.dupont.com/DuPont_Home/en_US/index.html) today announced it has reached a regulatory milestone for its next generation of healthier soybean products. DuPont business Pioneer Hi-Bred (http://www.pioneer.com/web/site/portal/) received confirmation from Health Canada (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/index-eng.php) and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/toce.shtml) that its high oleic soybean trait has been approved for cultivation and food and feed use in Canada.
