NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (NNS) -- USS Carl Vinson's (CVN 70) Dental department continues to strive for excellence as they push forward with their operational plan and current 93 percent readiness status.
The dental department provides necessary health care for more than 3,000 personnel on board the aircraft carrier. The department is proactive in placing service members in one of four dental categories and then contacting departments and making them aware of Sailor's status.
