Indian DTH (direct-to-home) services provider Sun Direct has announced that it has launched HD (high-definition) TV services in India after getting the permit for the broadcast. Sun Direct is an 80:20 joint venture between Malaysia-based Astro Group and the Maran Family, and has already attracted around 3.1 million users so far.
