Nov. 3--Bill and Sherry Sendelback of Springfield have no complaints about the 1993 emerald-colored Mitsubishi 3000 GT sports car they bought at a Eugene used-car dealership more than a year ago. They wish they could say the same of the dealership, Selective Motors, which is now defunct and bankrupt.

But they can't. Selective failed to pay off the debt on the car the Sendelbacks traded in, so they received late payment notices on a car they no longer owned, Bill Sendelback said. And the Sendelbacks figure they probably won't recoup the $1,500 they paid for an extended service warranty that Selective never obtained for them.
