NUTLEY, N.J., Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Friday, November 7, granted Hoffmann-La Roche Inc., clearance to market FORTOVASE(TM) (saquinavir), a new and improved soft gelatin formulation of the first available protease inhibitor, INVIRASE(R) (saquinavir mesylate). FORTOVASE is indicated for the treatment of HIV in adults in combination with other antiretroviral agents.
