A Detroit-based automotive tool and die company has closed its doors, at least temporarily, following the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of Chrysler L.L.C.
Mike Landers, executive vice president of Ronart Industries Inc., confirmed in a Thursday e-mail to Crain's that the company was closed, but he said it was temporary.
"Chrysler work was shut down, and that was all we had for this period, Landers wrote.
All Chrysler manufacturing operations are being idled while the company is in bankruptcy. Chrysler has said it expects to be able to resume its operations as a new company as early as late June if it completes its ...
