Hyderabad, May 13 -- The Praja Rajyam today cancelled a meeting of all its Assembly candidates, which was supposed to be held tomorrow, with most of them expressing inability to attend it as the date for counting of votes (May 16) is very near.
Party president Chiranjeevi wanted to have an interaction with the candidates on Wednesday to discuss with them the prospects of the party and the plan to follow after the declaration of results. But the candidates rejected the invitation saying that it would not be possible for them to go over to Hyderabad with counting just two days away and then rush back to their respective constituencies in time for counting.
