Shares of Quebec-based wind turbine manufacturer AAER Inc. (TSX: V.AAE, Stock Forum) climbed 11% to 28.5 cents Monday, after the company announced over the weekend that it has signed a conditional turbine supply agreement for the delivery and commissioning of 61 1.65 MW wind turbines to Mont Louis Wind L.P., for its 100.65 MW wind farm project in Quebec, for an estimated sale price of $142 million.
The company originally signed a reservation agreement with Mont Louis Wind in October, extending it twice in order to finalize the turbine supply agreement.
