TAIPEI, May 14 Asia Pulse - The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) will organize a trade mission consisting of representatives from 50 local food product companies to visit the cities of Fuzhou and Xiamen in China's Fujian Province in late May, a TAITRA official disclosed Monday.
Beverly Luh, a TAITRA project manager, said the mission, organized at the request of the Board of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, was intended to explore new markets in China for Taiwan's food industry.
