Dhaka, May 13 (UNB) - Commerce Minister Faruk Khan on Wednesday said the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms would soon be modernized and shifted to a suitable place near Sonargaon Hotel for better services.
"Business registration is the gateway to the formal economy; so we've taken the initiative to modernize the Joint Stock Companies' office to enhance its activities and services," he said.
The Commerce Minister made the remarks while speaking as chief guest at the inaugural session of a two-day workshop on 'Business Registration in Sounth Asia' held at Hotel Sheraton in the morning.
