Article: Bombardier Signs Order For 16 Canadair Regional Jet Aircraft With Mesa Air Group

TORONTO, Nov. 12 /CNW-PRN/ - Farmington, New Mexico-based Mesa Air Group has doubled its commitment to the Canadair Regional Jet(R) airliner, bringing firm orders to a total of 32 aircraft. The airline group currently has nine 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet aircraft in its fleet and will take delivery of two additional aircraft in 1997, nine in 1998 and 12 in 1999 from Bombardier Aerospace.

The value of Mesa's latest 16-aircraft order is approximately $350 million U.S. ($492.6 million Can.).
