Nov. 11--Manco Inc., known as much for its quirky management style as its double-digit growth through the sale of duct tape and other consumer products, says it doesn't expect to change after it sells controlling interest to a German company almost 100 times its size.
Henkel Group, based in Dusseldorf, has agreed to buy a majority interest of Manco, based in the Cleveland suburb of Avon. The deal is expected to close in January, both sides said Monday.
Terms were not disclosed. Manco will be renamed Henkel Manco Inc.
