Europe Day celebration starts in Ukraine on May 16

Kyiv, May 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Europe Days will be launched in Kyiv on May 16, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira said at a press conference on Wednesday.

"It looks like the Day of Europe is not celebrated as it is in Ukraine," the ambassador said.

Most events in the Days of Europe have been traditionally held in Kyiv, that is why this year the European Commission decided to pay more attention to the regions.
