THE HIGHEST paid director of Barclays is in line for [pounds sterling]10m-plus payout after the bank revealed that its prized asset management business could be sold.
A disposal of Barclays Global Investors would trigger huge windfalls for investment banking chief Bob Diamond and other senior bankers, who own just over 10pc of the division.
