Dujailah, a heavy oil find made in 1961 by BPC, tested 2,000 b/d of 14[degrees] API oil from the top of a Mishrif Fm; Kifl, found in 1969 by BPC in the S-W, tested 5,500 b/d of 21[degrees] oil with 3.5% S from Upper Zubair. Tunisian state-owned ETAP in 2002 signed a deal for Kifl to produce 40,000 b/d. But that deal was subsequently cancelled. Now the Kifl group and the Merjan field are offered in one of the 11 EDP-RSCs in the second bidding round.
