Capturing everyday moments on canvas, artist Hector McDonnel takes the ordinary and makes it beautiful.
Hector McDonnell's peripatetic nature has taken him on journeys far from his home in the verdant glens of County Antrim in Northern Ireland. He has traveled and painted in China, Tibet, and India, and, most recently, in Africa. He has lived in London and New York, a city which he says he can not get enough of and where soon he will settle down for a year. Internationally, he is one of Northern Ireland's best-known contemporary painters.
