According to a study from Wuhan, People's Republic of China, "Chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps (CRSsNP) and with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is characterized by persistent inflammation of sinonasal mucosa. Glucocorticoid-induced leucine zipper (GILZ) is a recently described anti-inflammatory mediator."
