I have something like 20 rods that I use regularly throughout the fishing season on the New Jersey shore. There are four trolling rods, two wireline rods, four spinning rods, four rods for bottom-fishing, guest rods, etc. I keep them all in my garage so they're easily carried out to the boat. But keeping them in order and in good condition became a major problem.
It's not a wise idea to lean rods against a wall where they might take a "set." Hanging tackle from the ceiling rafter w as also out of the question for much the same reason (not to mention my 10-foot ceiling). The wall space is lined with tools. Ideally I wanted my tackle held apart to prevent ...
