HOUGHTON, Mich., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Upper Peninsula Energy Corporation (Nasdaq: UPEN) reports revised unaudited consolidated net income of $3,864,000 or $1.30 per average Common share for the twelve months ended September 30, 1997. Twelve months' earnings for the same period a year ago were $4,077,000 or $1.37 per share. For the nine months ended September 30, 1997, revised earnings were $2,443,000 or $0.82 per share. For the nine months ended September 30, 1996, earnings were $3,709,000 or $1.25 per share.
