Everyone that enters the international exhibitions has no doubt wished for a way to get more acceptances and maybe a medal. Fine Line developer has done that for me. The use of Fine Line developer for making salon type prints has been around for several years. Yet, it is one of photography's best kept secrets. So far as I know, it is made expressly for the printing trade. My first introduction to Fine Line developer was in the late seventies. Jim Spurlock was entering prints in the monthly print contest at the Dallas Camera Club and was also being rated in Who's Who as one of the top exhibitors in the world in large black and white prints.
