The Frost & Sullivan '2009 European Wireless Mesh Networking Technology Innovation Award' is presented to Coronis, an Elster Group company, in recognition of its Wavenis technology that has played an enabling role in wireless networking technologies.
"The sophisticated Wavenis technology complements Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, while offering a perfect balance of power consumption, range, reliability, and robustness," notes Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Avanti Chitnis. "The company has made significant progress by providing valuable functionalities such as network connectivity for devices that form part of inherently resource-constrained wireless sensor networks."
