Nov. 21--CHEVY PRIZM SHEDS NEW LIGHT WITH LOTS OF UPDATES FOR '98: No one could blame the Prizm sedan for suffering some identity crisis.
First, it was a Geo. Now, it's a Chevrolet, since Chevy abandoned the Japanese-sounding "Geo" division tag and adopted what was left of Geo into the American family.
But, all along, the Prizm has really been a Toyota, since it is built alongside the Corolla and shares many of the same parts.
All this name-game aside, the Prizm represents a lot of news for '98. Improvements have been made across the board in an effort to punch up its value and attraction- factor, but hold the cost.
