Chandigarh, May. 18 -- Blistering heat wave lashed Hisar with the mercury staying at 46.4 degrees celsius as the temperatures rose in the north-west region today.
Most areas in the region were under the impact of heat wave conditions with the mercury hovering one degree to six degrees above normal.
Hissar was the hottest place in Haryana where the heat wave conditions, prevailing in some areas, are likely to contine for the next two days, according to the Weather Office here.
