A BRITISH film-maker is to produce a documentary film on the cultural renaissance in Bahrain.

It will focus on two leading figures in furthering art and cultural heritage in Bahrain, says former award-winning actress Esther Anderson.

They are General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residence Under-Secretary Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who is also Bahrain Arts Society president and a leading artist, along with Culture and Information Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa.

"Through the documentary, we hope to showcase to the world some of Bahrain's hidden arts," Ms Anderson told the GDN ...
