CALGARY, ALBERTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 26, 1997--Solid State Geophysical(TSE:SSS.) Solid State Geophysical Inc. (TSE:SSS) today announced that it had been advised by Elliott Associates, L.P. and Westgate International, L.P. that they would be increasing the price to be paid in their previously announced offer to acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Solid State not presently held by them from CN $3.00 per common share to CN $3.50 per common share.
