Russia's Nevinnomyssky Azot sees Q1 earnings fall 33%

ROSTOV-ON-DON. May 19 (Interfax) - Nevinnomyssky Azot (RTS: NEAZ), which is based in Russia's Stavropol territory and part of EuroChem Mineral Chemical Company, saw net profit under Russian accounting standards (RAS) decline 32.6% to 1.414 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2009 compared to the same period of 2008, the company said in a report.

Sales revenue fell 24.5% to 4.555 billion rubles in the quarter.
