WASHINGTON, May 20 (AScribe Newswire) -- Earlier today, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced the establishment of a new initiative called the Therapeutics for Rare and Neglected Diseases (TRND) Program, a federally mandated effort to encourage and speed the development of new drugs for rare and neglected diseases.
