Srinagar, May. 19 -- Chairman of the breakaway Hurriyat Conference (HC) Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yaseen Malik were put under house arrest to prevent them from visiting the residence of Manzoor Ahmad Beg, who was allegedly killed by Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police in custody at Alochi Bagh yesterday.
A spokesman of the JKLF said this afternoon that Mr Malik was put under house arrest at his Maisuma residence since last evening.
He said Mr Malik was not being allowed to move out of his house.
