New Delhi, May 20 -- Secretary of State for tourism of Spain Joan Mesquida today announced the opening of National Tourist Office of Spain here.
The office would be headed by Mr Miguel Nieto Sandoval as Tourism Councellor, Director of the Tourism Department, and Embassy of Spain in India. Mr Nieto will take charge of the India market from the outgoing Director Enrique Ruiz de Lera.
The announcement comes in wake of the strategic tourism plan for 2008 - 2011. The objective behind setting up an office in the dynamic and evolved market of Mumbai is to further augment Indian outbound traffic to Spain and enhance the destination visibility and promote Spain ...
