Q. We need to know straight away, how did the famous Hawaiian shirt become your trademark and turn you into Hawaii 501(tm)?
A. It all started on holiday in Vegas in 1998. A friend of mine went into this horrible Hawaiian shirt shop and bought one like this. It was so horrible that I decided to buy one exactly the same and wear it for the World Championships the following year. It wasn(tm)t a dare, I just wanted to be different and it caught on really well. What made me do it, I don(tm)t know, it was probably me just being stupid but it(tm)s paid off really well and I(tm)m glad I do something different.
