Audit Chamber faults Sakhalin-1, Kharyaga operators
MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russia's Audit Chamber has found violations in the work of the operators of the Sakhalin-1 and Kharyaga production-sharing projects.
Exxon Neftegas, the operator of Sakhalin-1, did not comply with the decision of the Authorized State Body to prepare and secure approval of project documentation and did not fulfill the 2008 drilling program, it said.
The Sakhalin-1 project still has not resolved the issue of gas sales. Exxon Neftegas has not reached an agreement with Gazprom (RTS: GAZP) on gas supplies to Primorye from Chayvo to begin in the third quarter of 2011.
