Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, the New York private-equity firm, has appointed the former U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ford Fraker, a senior adviser in its new Middle East and North Africa (MENA) investment group. Fraker, the ex-chairman of investment banking firm Trinity Group Ltd., is to work closely with KKR MENA head Makram Azar to source new deals and assist with investor relations.
